Zara June Williams’ (b. 1990) is a Gadigal/Sydney based artist whose practice explores states of order and disorder through a nonlinear and playful approach to painting and collage. Through recurrent destruction and renewal, acts of care, chance, failure, and contradiction, she considers the fragmented and often uncertain nature of human experience.

Zara June Williams completed a Master of Fine Arts at the National Art School in 2018. She was granted the Lift Off Award upon graduation, enabling her to relocate to Germany, where she resided until 2021. She was a resident artist at Pilotenkueche in Leipzig in 2019 and at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2022. She has since participated in numerous exhibitions both in Sydney and abroad.
